Founded on September 23, 1982, the Railway Recruitment Board in Bhopal. In order to coordinate and streamline the operation of RRBs, the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) established the Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB) in January 1985. In 1998, all RRBs came under the control of the RRCB. The RRB office moved to East Railway Colony in Bhopal in July 2000 from a rented space in Machna Colony, Shivaji Nagar. On the basis of Indents received from the railways, the Railway Recruitment Board, Bhopal, directly hires both technical and non-technical categories for Gr. “C” jobs as well as paramedical positions.

About Educational qualifications:
- 10th pass (OR) ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT/ SCVT (or) equivalent (OR) National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
About Group D’s Application Fee :
- For all candidates except the fee concession categories mentioned below at Sl No 2 :- Rs. 500/- Only
- (This fee of Rs. 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in First Stage CBT.)
